Question Stove vent cover needed

Hello All!

I need a stove vent cover for my '64 Tradewind. I've looked on the web on the usual "vintage" Airstream suppliers and all the sites are out of sock with no confirmation as to when my part will be in supply. I'm trying to find a solution before the snow flies here in Montana, does anyone have any leads? Thanks you in advance! -Ben

Try a new item from a dealer.

I had that problem with a 'fridge vent cover in late fall once. Had to cover it and wait 'till spring!

Vintage trailer supply sells them but they are currently out of stock. They have a feature you can click where they will email you when the item is in. I am on the waiting list for the exact same thing right now :-)

My advice to you is wait for the VTS one... It's ABS and should last longer than the fiberglass one! I bought one from another vendor & it has started cracking on the river flange

Your best bet would be finding an aluminum one from someone scraping out a 70's trailer. That's how I found one.

You could also call VTS and either talk to Steve H, or one of the customer service reps. They may be able to tell you how long it will be until they get the part in. They are very customer service friendly.
