Dacia,
My friend Lee has a '61 Caravel with the working furnace still in place if your friend needs some info or pictures.

JP, thanks so much for making these available.

When Fred assisted me in organizing my files, the dates on catalogs maybe a year behind the actual model year in some cases. I can not vouch for this, but Fred can definitely give you direction.

Are these spec sheets from you PeeWee? If so, a big thank you to you, Fred and your mother's estate. This is fantastic and as a bit more info comes to light, it will be even better.
Kudos to everyone involved.

JP here are a couple of needed corrections that I found.
1974 Excella Floor Plans should be Fleet Floor Plans. (actually no Excella's are even included).
1974 Standard Specifications needs to be rescanned as the page is clipped and left hand information is cut off.
Is there any plan to eventually post the full brochures? As I see where some of the data is taken from same.
My thanks for your doing this service.

An excellent new resource . . .
Jim and everyone at Airstream:
THANK YOU for a wonderful new vintage Airstream resource. It undoubtedly took a lot of work to scan, resize, organize and post this excellent data. Thank you for doing all that for the benefit of all of us.
The beauty of the vintage Airstream hobby is that there is always more to learn. This morning I learned about two California-built trailers I never knew existed: the 1959 18' Comet and the late 50's 22' Spaceliner, a limited production model. I imagine they were Wally's reply to Russia's Sputnick! I know I'll learn more as I spend more time cruising this web site.
Brad, this wonderful project was done by Airstream's staff. I was as thrilled as you to see it for the first time. I imagine these materials came from the JC factory files, which would have started in 1952 when the factory opened. It's great to see these historical materials being shared on the internet.

Brad,
I do have catalogs over a span of time. Fred has seen them. He probably scanned those that he didn't in the VAC archieves.
But the hats should be off to Airstream, Jackson Center files. I haven't personally contributed to this webstie.
Again, everyone is doing a great job of making historical documents available.

Dale,
I thought for sure that when you took that walk across Pike Street to visit the original factory buildings you showed them where all the good stuff was hidden.

Steve,
The opportunity to discover is yet to come.

Maybe it's something about my system, but today, the link seems dead. It worked yesterday...

Thanks sugarfoot
Thanks for the info re: the specs on so many models and years of Airstreams. I have been thinking about restoration of an older AS when I retire.

It's all still there . . .
I'm sure it must be a work in progress. Looks like JP has been tweaking the site. Now if you click on Customer Service you will find four tabs (FAQs, Manuals, Travel Trailer Specs, and Motorhome Specs. He's made it easier to search for TTs or MHs separately.

Right... but if he keeps changing the page addresses... any links we post will be dead. Best to create the basic structure and stick with it... just adding content to fill the gaps.
Let's hope.

It appears additional information has been added to the Customer Service part of the Airstream website.
