Wink so many questions. please help

would love some help and advice
from anyone with a little knowledge on the fields .

first I have read through so many post and love all the entries , but my 69' trade wind is on a deadline to become a small children 's retail-store . so now i need to ask a hundred Questions at once ....ready.

ok I have removed half of the sub floor and treated it . ready for por 15 .

doing the floor half and half. new sub floor going in next week.

-do iI need that pease of vent under the floor .......I am thinking not .????

-do i put in new yellow spay insulation under the sub floor ?????


-I plan to seal off most of the holes from antennas and such with a rivetted patches ........where do i buy the nice rivets ??????
will also seal up most hatches to stay closed .

-where do i get a nice new electrical inlet for the front for the generator .

-also ( @ minno ) where did you get that covered electrical box for the outside ????

-where do i get the right weatherstripping for the windows ?

-best advise on getting a new airconditioning system . ON A BUDGET ???

-any great thoughts on insulation ?????


ok that is enough for now should keep me busy for a month or so .

What I have heard to do about the AC, is to have the one that is already there re built.

Keep reading all the threads. Pay close attention to the floor replacement threads regarding c-channel, the floor is structural. Do it right! And insulate as much as you can. You can buy a rivet kit from airstream or from a big box store. Is your airstream going o be stationary? Are you aware of the sealants etc you should and should not use? Be sure not to use silicone, for example!
