Smell in closet

We have a 2003 Classic Slide Out. Ever since taking it out of storage this summer after the winter, there is a terrible smell coming out of the closet. There is a storage bin for shoes under the floor of the closet, and under that is the duct work for the furnace. Does anyone know if the black water tanks are close to this area or could we have some decomposing animal in the duct work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Black tank should exit the roof... and if properly sealed, no smell back in..

On my AS, we found the roof seal was insufficient... and yes, the smell found it's way into the closet.

Now, after replacing roof vent and properly sealing same, no problem.
Peace and Blessings..

I just spent several days cleaning and sanitizing all my tanks in my new to my trailer because of nasty smells. Turns out the smell was a decomposing mouse under a slide out drawer. Dig deep no telling what you might find.
