Hi all need some help .Just purchased 2019 globetrotter not even 3 months old and kitchen sink seperated from counter top.I called airstream said next appointment is October. Are you kidding me.This is my 3rd new airstream purchase spent over 200 thousand dollars with this company and this the best they can do.Any one else having problems with the new globetrotter sink ? Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you John Aspinall

Disappointing to hear. Especially for something so easy to fix, yet makes your rig unusable. Airstream factory needs to triage repairs like this or have a quick response team for them.

Obviously wasn't installed correctly. They should authorize a local dealer to fix it for you.

We had the same problem with our 2019 Globetrotter. We had it repaired at the factory. Apparently the glue used by the manufacture is not strong enough for RVs. The factory took the sink apart and glued it over night with clamps holding it together in the shop. Tanner (our service guy) said the glue is much stronger than the factory glue. We were repaired in April and have traveled just over a 1,000 miles without any more issues with the sink. We are returning to the factory in July for a third repair on the refrigerator though. it will not cool lower than 42 degrees at the coolest setting. 1st repair was done at the dealership in VA. They said they had to burp the refrigerator. AS factory added a fan to the back of the unit. Still not cooling appropriately.

Hi John,
Did you contact your dealer’s service dept? I know this is the dealers “busy time”, but they should be correcting your defect right away.
Please keep us appraised of your situation.

Glue the sink in...from underneath?
So...the top of the sink is glued to the bottom of the counter, I wonder who thunk that was a good idea in a trailer?🤔

Interestingly enough the problem has nothing to do with the sink. The framework that supports the countertop separated from the countertop. That is the glueing I was referring to. It is an illusion that the sink separated.

My Sink Fell In - 2016 Pendleton

My sink separated from the countertop and fell in last week in 2016 Pendleton. I can get a service appointment next May - 2020. I am only two and a half hours away. It’s not under warranty. Taking it to an independent repair shop this week. Good luck to me.
