Sealing steps thread or photo?

Hi folks,
Haven't had time to blog or anything - using the good weather to get our trailer ready to roll and lots of work being done!

What I need today is someone to direct me to photo or details on how to seal around steps. I thought it would be easy, but got under there and can't figure it out. We're in the process of sealing our trailer everywhere we can, but the steps have me buffaloed. I can't find the proper threads or photos.

Thanks so much. Have lots to tell about on our repair and rehab efforts, and we're missing our SECOND rally we really hoped to attend this week, but refuse to take a trailer on the road that isn't properly "leakalyzed." LOL
Thanks, (and may not see your replys till later - gotta' go work on the traylah. Always plenty to do!)

I realize that my answer is not what you are asking for, but it might be an option if you don't find any better answers.
I just left the step area alone on my trailer except to drill a couple of drain holes in the gray wrap that extends under the trailer on each side of the step frame. After drilling the drain holes I covered them with a small piece aluminum screen. In my way of thinking, any water getting in, then has a way to get out.

I don't know if this is what you are talking about but Chris posted pics of his step underside. It is post #59
