Screwing My Bambi?

I'm wondering how you fasten items to the interior walls of your AS trailers so that the items are secure enough to withstand towing. I'm thinking of items like coat hangers, clock, pictures, maybe a shelf, etc..

I'm sure that using sheet-metal screws would work for heavier items, but would the screws stay tight? Would anyone do this? Or am I thinking crazy thoughts? What length should I use to insure that I don't puncture the exterior? Any hidden locations that I need to make sure that I steer clear of?

I've seen posts where owners have used Velcro for this task. Any suggestions on what type? Tips or tricks?

3M automotive trim adhesive.
It is like double sided foam tape bur stronger and can be removed. I also use Velcro for things that need to be frequently removed... clicks, weather stations, etc...

I personally would never use screws

No need to drill unless it is a permanent fixture or really heavy. I got some of these for my clock and the few items I have and they work really well. The picture is not the exact one I have but there are different ones at Home Depot that even list up to so many pounds, etc. They actually lock together. I have used screws for my router and installed items but not nicknack items. A shelf, probably screws. I just finished installing those ocean air blinds and screwed them in place but that is more a requirement.

X2 on Command strips. Has worked for me with even framed pics. There are different weight capacities available. They even make the coat hooks...plastic, chrome, etc.

Does your Excella have mouse fur on the walls? If so, attaching the hook side of the "industrial" version of Velcro to your items attaches stuff firmly to the mouse fur.
