Red face Saw It- It Floored Me!!!!!!!!!!

I was hard at work on my recently acquired '67 Tradewind. I knew that I had some floor repair to do in the bath, as a previous owner had put down a new sub floor over the old. So, with great trepidation, i started to remove the subfloor. I was using the power saw to cut thru the floor, when.......WHAM.......I hit it, I saw it , it floored me. Pictured is what I found as a patch on the bathroom floor. A 12" sawblade, glued between the floors for support. Now, my husband is from Kentucky- so all of you native kentuckians don't take offense- but this trailer came from - guess where!! If you can top this one- please post a photo or tell your story!!

very cool 'moon...

there is at least one thread on this topic, and lots of crazy finds.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f161...ing-15767.html

so u might get more play out of your 'find' if it's added to the ongoing list...

seems 'money' and dead critters are the most common...

cheers

I think it's just a lost saw blade.

If it was an official Kentucky repair job, the saw blade would be bedded in about 5 lbs of Bondo.

Hi Silvermoon: that may be hard to top. This trailer may have been previously repaired by an individual that Jeff Foxworthy often jokes about. The belly pan of my Argosy had more than one cubic yard of abandoned [gray in color] wasp nest which I have discovered after bringing it home from Ohio.
Thanks, "Boatdoc"
