Satellite Radio Antenna Install

I'd like to install a Sirius/XM antenna on the right rear or somewhere near that on a 2013 25' EB. It's the standard antenna about 1.5" square and 1/2" thick. It's magnetic so I'd have to use 3M trim tape or such to mount.
I'm looking for a way to route the cable to the inside top, right rear corner where the radio / dvd/etc. are. preferrably without drilling in the outside skin. If your not familiar with the antenna, the cable is thin, about < 1/16" and it's plug will pass thru a 1/4" hole. I;ve thought about mounting it near a marker light and running under it thru it's hole. Question is how do you get a marker light off and if so where does the wiring go on the inside. I'm open to all suggestions.
Thanks
Harry

I think it might be easier to mount it on a window and run the small wire through the window gasket and on inside. The sharp bends needed to run it through a marker light hole, the weather sealing, the finding of the wire inside the coach and so on seem to me to be quite a project.

I do not mean to be snarky when I say this, but if you need to ask how to do this project of marker light removal and wire fishing, it may be beyond your ability to accomplish. How daring are you feeling? Grin.

If I were to do it personally, I would probably drill through the skin close to where you want the wire to wind up, then carefully seal the resulting hole. The problem there is you really don't know what is inside where you are drilling, and might hit some other wire with your drill.

It is a tough call. Window mount would be my preference I guess.

Had one mounted on the reefer vent with the cable down to the back of the cabinet and then forward to the receiver. BUT, found that half the time the antenna was blocked by trees in various campsites.

Surrendered and use a plain old Sirius household cube style antenna which rides behind the reefer. When I get set up, out it comes and on its 25' lead, I can almost always find a clear path for reception.

Time to go, wrap it up, stash it and ride on!

I mounted one in my 25 Safari. The radio is in front over the dinette.
I wanted to route the wire through the window without drilling through the skin. I abandoned the idea because it involved drilling a hole in the window frame and routing the wire up the outside to the preferred location on the roof.
I drilled a hole in the roof above the radio inside the cabinet and sealed the hole with silicon. The insallation is clean inside and out and leakproof.

Gotcha ... passenger side at the rear is where the Sony hides ! I have to change the angle on the standard flex antenna just to mount a vent cover ...
