Rock Guard studs broken - 2016 International 28

Back from our 1000 mile maiden voyage with our new unit and notice the upper inside stud for the curb side rock guard is sheared off. When I removed the other captured nuts, two seeemed to be cross threaded. Before calling eggs dealer I'd thought I'd reach out and ask about the material type for the stud: 1) is it aluminum or stainless and 2) how concerned do I need to be about dissimilar materials (aluminum against stainless)? For my F350 I know it's a big "don't " when it comes to aluminum/metal contact.

Any thoughts?

Can you post a photo?

There are numerous places on my Airstreams where stainless screws and bolts are use to attach to the aluminum coach. I have seen no problem.

I know the OEM cap nuts are "locking" type. I just picked up 1/4 20x3/4in stainless steel bolts and matching cp nuts. I'll put a little permatex on the thread and see how it works. Only one cracked/broke. I figure someone at the factory got a little overzealous with a screw gun mid the maiden voyage finished the job.
