Rivets broken on rear bottom panel

Our 2006, rear door, 25' Safari has broken rivets on bottom panel. It looks like about 8 or 10 have broken loose, we need to fix. Can I drill and use sheet metal screws? Can I tape it closed? Any suggestion on the best fix welcome.

There is always a reason why a lot of particular rivets give way, and it's always an indicator that there is a problem.

Why not post a few photos of the area where this is happening, so that we might possibly get an idea to help you?

Sheet metal screws are not a good answer (they will rust and work their way out) and tape has no holding power.

If it's to be, it's up to me.

They will need to be replaced with Olympic Rivets if an outside panel, aluminum pop rivets on the inside. No sheet metal screws.

Biggest thing is try to ascertain what caused them to break. There may be something going on underneath somewhere.

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm taking it to Traverse City Airstream, Nature and Me R.V. They will look it over and do the repair. Back on the road soon, lol.
