I have a 2013 25 Flying Cloud and have found approximately 10+ rivets on the floor.

The Dealers tells me that this is only convered by warranty for 2 years.

Anyone have this problem. The Dealer has "never heard of this"

Did not find in forum.

Thank you

Did you notice any missing rivets in the vicinity (from any of the interior panels)?

If you don't see any missing rivets, do you have a close friend who would pull this kind of prank on you?

That would be a funny prank. When I pulled up the old carpet and padding in mine there were mandrels all throughout the coach. (about 20 or so) I just cant imagine that not being found on one of the inspections.....

Interior rivets will come off on any Airstream on a periodic basis. 10 all at once seems a bit excessive. Is there any pattern to the popped rivets? I.e., are they along a single rib line or around a single door or window? This type of pattern might indicate a structural issue. On the other hand, if they are randomly distributed throughout the coach I would not be overly alarmed at this point. Drill out the old rivets and replace them with the proper rivets (aluminum rivets with ALUMINUM mandrels) and monitor the situation.

You can Google replacing pop rivets, there are several very good YouTube videos on how to do this.

The roadways are rough, it's not unusual to lose one now and then. Ten of them suddenly breaking loose is excessive and a symptom of out of balance running gear (tires, wheels, hubs), or too rigid sway control bars connected to a too rigid suspension on the tow vehicle if you just changed either one or both.

I would start by rebalancing the tires if all else has been the same since Airstream was new, then look into reasons for excessive vibration.

My trailer is almost 10 years old. I am still finding construction trash in nooks and crannies. I recently found several phillips bits when I removed the front couch sandwiched between the couch and interior wall. Figure that they must of fallen out of the pocket of a tech during construction. Best find was several credit cards, unfortunately they are many years expired.

Do you know what a learning experience is? A learning experience is one of those things that says "You know that thing that you just did? Don't do that."
