Replacing Thermostat Wires?

I am replacing the Atwood thermostat in my 2018 Sport with a 2 wire Honeywell. The Atwood is wired with a blue wire and a blue wire with a white stripe. Does anyone know which wire corresponds to red and which corresponds to white (which are the standard colors for two wire thermostats and are expected to be available in the Honeywell wiring diagram?

Neither.
Those wires when connected complete the circuit for the furnace.

Thanks for the reply. Are you saying that it does't make any difference which of the two Honeywell terminals (red and white) you align the existing two Airstream wires with?

I have no idea how a Honeywell thermostat is supposed to be wired. If you connect the two blue wires together, the furnace will start.

Thanks for that. Yes, I realize it works like a switch. Just didn’t know if it was directional in any way. One way to find out........
