replacement panel specifications

I have just attached my shell and floor after completing frame repairs and floor replacement. My streetside rear corner seems like it will need to have the panel from the back hatch to the side panel replaced. (approximately 42 x 72")
Does anyone know the specifications for what aluminum I need? The '68s used the alclad aluminum which I would like to use as I hope to polish the trailer at some point and want it to all match.....
I have a good local airstream dealer, so can order from them, but also have a good sheet metal shop from which I obtained my bellypan aluminum, just not sure what to ask for.

.032 2024-T3 Alcad, .040 will give good results also.

If you indeed have a 1968, then the quarter panel metal is the same exact material as the basic shell.

It's 2024 T 3, .032 thick and the correct size needed for that quarter panel is 48 inches high by 60 inches long.

You can use .040 material, if you wish.

The correct sealer to use is Vulkem.

You might by the way, have to buy a 4' X 6' sheet especially from suppliers such as Aircraft Spruce.
