Replacement grab handle

One of the end caps fell of the lighted grab handle on my 2003 International and AS doesn't stock them. I checked with several dealers but no luck.

Does anyone know where to find one or should I try to replace it with an aftermarket handle and try to hide the old screw holes?

thanks

The handle for the Skydeck and many 390 motorhomes looks like this:

The earlier photo is of the top cover removed, it is identical to the missing bottom cover.

But I have yet to find one on the net for sale, and I obviously need the acrylic handle as mine is all cracked. If I cannot find one I will likely go with one of the handles with a keypad that will unlock the RV with a combo.

Just wandered into the store at JC - I believe I saw the acrylic handle there. Worth a phone call.

Look at the ends before buying. there are two that look alike mounted, but have a different bevel in the caps. One has a step and one has a bevel. It only effects how it fits in the end caps.
I bought the wrong one, and then used a grinder to nip off the part I needed cut.
Here's the step shape ends.

Mine is the exact one as the skydek picture in the thread. What is JC?
I got my caps for Fleming, I think I bought the last couple they had, reached out to them have not heard back yet. Was wanting the engraved one.

JC is shorthand for “Jackson Center” the Thor Manufacturing plant for Airstream in Ohio.

I also need "caps" for my grab handle - I see you found some

Would you be kind enough to provide info as to where you found them and part numbers if you just happen to have

Thanks for any and all info - my email gjorsak@gmail.com

Not sure what you are expecting. He said he found the last two at their service center. I have reached out to them in the last year and Airstream claims to no longer have the caps or the grab handle.

I have one that I wanted to 3D print a mate for but the software to create the object keeps getting confused by the chrome reflections. Maybe I could make a plaster cast...

Handle Cover

Took me forever to track that down, not sure if they have any left. Here is some info on that cover. I attached a picture of mine to be sure they new what I was looking for. If you find a replacement handle source with the engraved airstream let me know. Also they do have what looks like a spot for the handle to light up but I do not think airstream wired it that way, or at least i did not see it on the parts book.

" I do have a couple of these left must be your lucky day… I can sell you this for $12 a piece if you would like please call in and speak with Laura and she can help with this.?

Thanks,
