Replace Stove?

I'm getting my 1973, 31' Airstream ready to sell, and I'm wondering if I should spend over $600 for a new stove. It has the original stove in it, and it's a mess. The top and cover were rusted, so I painted them black, just to make them look better. If I advertise it as having an old, messy stove people will realize that it will probably have to be replaced. Advertising it as having a new stove would help the sale, and it also has a new jack and new propane tanks.

The wires up front by the A-frame for the jack and breakaway switch are not getting any power, and I don't see any blown fuses. Any ideas?

So, what do you think about the stove?.

My vote is no on the new stove. You would probably get only a fraction of its value in the sale under the best of conditions.

What if your potential buyer is one of the I have to take out all of the propane stuff because it will "get me somehow." school of thought. No value to them at all. (Bless their hearts)

Thanks. I didn't know there were such people.
