Removing Goo & Smear from Plexiglas Window

My new trailer had two dealer stickers on its front plexiglas window. I peeled off the paper stickers, both of which left an adhesive footprint on the plexiglas. I rubbed paint thinner on the adhesive, attempting to remove it, which it did not. I then rubbed lacquer thinner on the adhesive, which did remove it, but when the lacquer thinner dried, it left a smear on the plexiglas --- whoops!

Question: How to now remove the smear & return that area of the plexiglas to clear, instead of smear???

Try a product called "Goof Off". Works wonders and is not harmful to aluminum if it drips.
