Removing a section of the trailer!

Hi, I need advice on which you think would be the best/easiest. I have gutted my 31 ft. Land Yacht & am remodeling it into a commercial kitchen. My appliances will not fit through the door. They might if we remove the doors & frame, or someone told me to remove the end where the large window is at the front of trailer because there are no braces down the middle.(right behind the propane tanks). What do you think, is my trailer going to fall apart? What is my best option?

You can remove the end shell, but when reinstalling it, the riveting numbers should be increased in size and quantity, to assure that the rear end will not fall apart.

Remember, that the shell holds up the frame. The heavier the payload, the heavier the frame, the harder it becomes for the shell to hold it up.

You can also increase the size of the door opening, by probably as much as 2 feet, IF done correctly.

Make some sketches before you begin the project, to assure proper weight and balance as well.

With a little bracing you should be OK to remove either section. One thought I had is what if you need to repair/replace later on? perhaps a permanent access panel?
