Frankly, judging by the pictures, it looks like a sound trailer if a person can see beyond the condition of the floor....

That said, I will give you $500 for it right now..

I would invest about 20K of hard money and a lot of my own labor and do something like this to it...

I think that is the only way it is viable to rebuild.

Realistically the options are sell as is, part out, or spend $20K and a lot of you own time (after which the trailer will have a re-sale value around the investment - minus the time).

It's just not 'rare' enough, and being a new purchase I am assuming you don't have the emotional attachment, to spend a lot of money on it.

If you think you will get a company to remodel the whole thing for less than $50K, I take back my suggestion of ringing Jason - you would be wasting your time and his.

I'm willing to put a max budge of 10k , just not sure if that's enough for this project. But I'd love a trailer like that.

Martin thank you for all the help. Give me a better idea of where I stand. I'll going to keep looking into the cost factors and make a decision on what direction to take.

Red - you got first dibs on the rock guard. Lol

Thanks again everyone

You can get away with a 10 grand budget, but you'll have to do all the work yourself. I've got $7500 in mine right now, including new tires and axles, and a $2000 dollar purchase price... She's not completely finished, but is very livable. I've got nothing close to that thing Mr Morgan is showing there. Mines much more "standard"... I couldn't use mine if it was that purty.

Bathroom is going to be your biggest problem. Does the PO have any of the interior/bathroom/tanks etc. lying around somewhere?

-Red,
I agree you can indeed get away with 10k or less budget, you'll have to do all/most of the work yourself and it will take a while but you'll have ultimate satisfaction. Plus you will be able to fix anything and know how everything works.

Thanks you guys. I think I'm on the same page with you too. I defiantly don't mind the time or work it would take. I've just never took on a project like this before.

Red- I have all the tanks and I also was worried about the restroom and shower. With or not I will even need one. Seems how most parks and places have showers and restrooms available but I've never owned a trailer before so I'm not sure if I'd really need to rebuild that part.

If you stay in parks with facilities all the time, no shower is not a problem. No toilet on the other hand... It sucks having to walk to the toilet at two in the morning because your bladder is bursting! What's worse is when your WIFE has to walk to the toilet at two in the morning...

If you had all of the stuff, you could put it together fairly cheap.

I have less than 2k in repairs in this one, but I only patched the floors, your floor needs a little more work than mine.

Sooner or later I will be gutting the 75 and going full custom, but that might be a few years yet.

There are people who frequently do the same and try to give away the stock stuff. Keep your eyes open on the forum, I have seen a few people doing that in the last year or two.

I ended up giving all of my stuff out of my 72 to a local Airstream reseller. I actually got most of it out without a lot of damage,,,, till I got tired of being patient in the bath area.

If you are careful and patient, you will be able to go back reasonably cheap.
