Well the couch is just about finished I will have to see how the cushions fit when I get them. The kitchen counter is in and I hope to put the marble tile on it tomorrow but we will see.
I need to finish the bathroom. Hopefully my valve for the black tank will come so I can get it in.
here are some pics of my couch frame. I kept the grocho part of it so that slides out to form our bed..

The weird cut out on the back is for the couch when it slides out. I will have double foam on the back, so there will be 2 pieces of 4" foam forming the back of the couch so when it folds out it all goes flat to form a nice bed..
We will have to see if it works all right. I may have to put some more plywood in to help support it. I will see when the foam is in.
Also a pic of the kitchen counter and cabinets.

Thanks for the pic's. How deep is the L side? I'm thinking of a 26"deep x 5"thick seat with a movable back that I can add to the length of the seat to make a small twin for a grandchild . I'm also going with a pull out sofa so 2 children and sleep feet to feet. I know it won't work, I can hear it now, YOU ARE TOUCHING ME! but I'm going to try. Love our Ambassadors!!!!
Got the black tank put in tonight. Finished some trim, and got the marble tile down on the kitchen counter during the day.. And worked on making a battery box...
Picked up the grey tank all though it wasn't what I ordered it will work.. Will get that in tomorrow I hope...
I will try and get some pics up tomorrow.

First I dropped off the grey tank to get the fittings put in it.
Then went and picked up the foam for the couch and dinnete. That stuff in not cheap... But we got a firm foam it it will be great for sitting on and sleeping on.
Got the black tank up. You can see a pick of the flange and the screws in it. I figure each screw has a pull rate of at least 20 lbs and there are 34 screws around the tank. and the tank full would weigh about 210 lbs.
Plus I will be putting the pan back on and the supports for that too.
I got the marble down on the kitchen counter top. Get the back splash and bathroom done tomorrow.
Also my neighbor who is a retired machinist, made me a battery box for my two batteries I moved up front. He did a great job....
Counter tops and plumbing hooked up tomorrow and it should be ready for the trip.

Ok, no pics today it got dark on me. I got my new grey tank installed and the black tank cover on on done. The plumbing is all hooked up except for the connection to the fresh water tank.
The fitting they spun on has come off. I will use some plastic weld to put it back on with some screws maybe. Once its in it shouldn't move around.
I was suppose to leave tomorrow but I'm not sure if I will? I still need to get the belly pan on too...
Man, stuff takes more time than you think. especially with a 3 and 6 year old wanting attention...
My wife is complaining the kitchen and bathroom counter tops in the AS are nicer than the house. And so are the fixtures.
Thats the way it goes sometimes...

Everything is looking good, I think you are making great progress, If we were making 1/4 of your progress we would be finished by 4th of July, but no-way.
Sweet battery box, Jason. There's something Coleman cooler-esque about it! We'll get the rest of the Ambassador shiny like the battery box this winter.
Here are a couple of pictures of the finished counter tops that I put in....
I painted the bathroom cabinet with a plastic paint after rubbing it with some steel wool. It seemed to come out ok...
Now I need to start making cabinet doors and drawers.
I also need to find some fabric to cover the couch and the dinnete with.
I would sew it up myself but I don't have a lot of time for that as my wife bought a used endless pool that I also have to put in the ground and build a deck around. Like I don't have enough to do...
So I will have to call someone to do that for me once I finish cutting the cushions to the right shape...
Hope to get some stuff done this week and will post pics as I go
