Refrigerator stopped working

Hi
We just redid a '66 Tradewind and when we plugged in the refrigerator (Domatic - not the original I am pretty sure) it worked. But then it stopped and we can't get it to work again! Leveled it, flipped the breakers, turned it on and off again, tested to power outlets (they all work) and nothing. Any idea on what we are doing wrong? Not sure when the last time it ran.

Thanks!
Miss Vicki

Several thing could cause the problem, but first, does it work on propane? Let us know that to begin with.

OK, how do you know that it's not working. They don't make noise like the home fridges... Is it perhaps just the fan that's not working. Did you leave it alone for 1/2 hour to see if it got cold?

It can take several hours for the refer to cool down, even on gas. The floor of the freezer will get cold first. Make sure you have it in the mode your are trying to run it. Gas, electric etc and the thermostat is set to a high number.

Is it a late model with the little lights on the top, showing power, etc. ?

Can you go outside and smell ammonia?
