Kelvin, with the recliners installed you will not see the subwoofer or it's wiring, unless you get down on your hands and knees and look for it. We left the subwoofer place at first, but have now unhooked it and just put a small vinyl bag with drawstrings over it to protect from dust. Our recliner bases sit naturally forward of the subwoofer, there is no interference.
