Recall Notice Arrived

Received recall notice for my 2019 International Signature 28 RBQ regarding the spare tire assembly. Dealer (which is 5 hours away) called and said they would notify me when they have parts and instructions on what must be done...

We received a recall on our 2018 19 CB's spare tire front bracket. The dealer is too far to go . We talked with Airstream customer support and within 3 days had the new bracket in the mail. Two bolts removed and the new front bracket installed ...good to go.

We are new to Airstream having just bought our trailer in November. Customer support has been awesome.

When I called the number on the recall letter Airstream said because it was an NTSB recall a dealer would have to do the swap. Have other folks been able to talk Airstream into just sending them the bracket? Taking it to the dealer would be an all-day affair.

I was told same thing by Airstream. Has to be dealer or JC installed. 4 hour drive one way.
