Question: popped rivets on the wheel well trim.

Hi, all...I have a 94 Excella 34'. It has a couple of popped rivets around the wheel well trim, which I would like to replace, since a bit of a gap has opened up. Can someone explain the construction here? I can feel the back side of the rivets inside the wheel well, but it seems like there is a separate piece of trim over the outside to conceal the rivet heads.

Thanks...

Well, always up for an adventure....

When I looked closely at the trim, there is a row of hidden screws around the inner side of the wheel well that hold on the outer trim piece.

About an hour later, all fixed...with a little Vulkem to camouflage less than perfect workmanship .

Pix attached, for everyone's information...

I thought a rough diagram might help others at some point...
