We pulled out a large section of the floor and all the insulation where we found the rot and replaced it with PT plywood and new insulation this past weekend. I have been running a small dehumidifier 3-5 days of each week since I noticed the smell. I also did two bleach cleaner wipe down of all surfaces this past month and I am happy to report that when I enter The Adjuster now..... No mildew smell! Now to decide what flooring to plan for. Continuing to move forward very slowly, but moving forward regardless! Click image for larger version

The floor has to go under the walls since the shell sits on the floor. Pressure Treated wood is extremely corrosive and it not recommended that is be in contact with metal.

Fiberglass insulation just adds to rot and rust problems because it holds water and also molds.
