I think it depends on the condition of the frame, skins, and floor. Especially the floor. Is the plywood solid, or are there soft spots that will need repairing or replacing. Is the frame rusted? Are the outriggers in solid, or have they rusted through? On one hand, a gutted trailer enables you to finish it the way you want on the other, it's missing all the bits and pieces. Fixtures and appliances can get expensive if you need to replace them all. At the end of the day, I think that if the trailer has value to you at that price, then it's worth it.
