Question Powerhead

Here I go again (I havent been out of my driveway yet).....Working on the trailer today and wanted to raise and lower the trailer with power jack. It wasn't functioning properly, so went through the motions trying to reinstall unit following instructions, and it still didn't work. Finally listened to it closely and I could hear the gears turning in the head, but no motion. I attempted to take the had apart to see if there were any gears messing up, and turned the head over, and tried to turn the capstan (?) by hand--it's a brass fitting with a grove pin that slips into the top slot of the lid. Turning that capstan by hand, it is not a smooth operation. (feels like the bearing are shot) Thats what it sounds like.

Any suggestions? take it to a shop?

Would someone enlighten me as to what My "2 Rivit Member" means? Tom

The more rivets you have, the more time tou spend on your computer. The more time you spend on your computer, the less time you are camping. So get a life and put the computer in the driveway and run it over on the way out with the AS. Sal.
