Looks great. I live in Adair and just finished stripping and polishing our in early Dec. I didn't do the mirror finish but it looks much better than it did with male pattern baldness.

Thanks, I've been dealing with corrosion issues which take many passes w/ F9! Never had that issue w/ my globetrotter .

I am far from a polishing Guru! Unfortunately this is not my first airstream to polish, this one is 7 feet longer! When I sold the Globetrotter I swore that I didn't want another polished Airstream, but with all of the work(and $$$) that has gone into it, I just cant help myself!! Im sure soon I will see a commercial soon about a name & prescription drug to "fix" this illness.

My Airstream is badly corroded. I've tried about every polish to get it looking better with no good results. What is recommended? I don't need the mirror finish, though it looks terrific, I just need more of an original finish. Is this possible?

Mine has areas of corrosion as well. Short of replacing panels, all I can do is go over the affected areas many times w/ F9( Nuvite) to minimize the appearance of the pitting. As far as achieving an original satin look, I have no idea! I'll let someone else weigh in on that!

Chillybilly- make sure the clearcoat is stripped... I stripped mine right off the bat when I got it. Now as I replace vents, windows, trim, etc. I'm polishing before I re-install the new vent, etc. However I JUST pulled the old AC for replacement and as I began to polish the opening and surrounding area, I was becoming frustrated that it was not cutting like previous areas. I finally realized that I didnt strip the clear there because the old AC was in the way. After stripping, it cut nicely with F9... many more steps with the finer grades, but happy it is cleaning up.
