Parts and Pieces

Does anyone know where I could get these two parts? One is a handle for the oven. It is broken at the bottom screw and keeps falling off. The other is a piece of outside trim.
Thanks

I might be able to find you a handle that will work - Posts RV had some that are a solid curve that fit 2 of the screws - not sure how old they were but mighty dusty. You can tap for the 2 additional screw holes as we did if you want. It's not pure vintage but worked well on our 71. Ours was broken just like yours.

If it worked on your 71, it should work on my 72. Do they have anymore? Do you have pricing or shipping info?

Just thought also, we just sent a 72 Overlander to salvage - hail damage and the other half wouldn't let me bid on it. Could give them a call and see if it's been sent to make beer cans yet.

I really appreciate your help.....if you can get back the handle, I would cover costs and shipping.

I'll swing by Posts tomorrow - I've sent several folks there by phone so hope they still have some left. I think I paid 6 bucks for it. If you use all 4 screw holes it's rock solid.

We sold it to salvage here in Columbus. I'll see if I can find out what they did with it - presume it went to auction.

Oven Handle

Here is the oven handle - Post's finally found it. Let me know if you want it. Two holes will line up - I tapped the third with a 7/64ths bit and used one of the existing screws to finish it.

I appreciate all your trouble Ganglin, but I think I want something closer to the original. I will keep looking. Maybe someone will get rid of one. Thanks again.

Parting a '70 Overlander

Hi, all,

I'm parting out a 1970 Overlander and have the exterior trim piece SwampBillies wants here and probably parts for other people's projects, too. Just PM me and I'll see if I can help.
