Panoramic Window Covers - Tinted

Good day.

today i was cleaning our trailer, full pressure wash. i opened the pano side windows to clean inside and when i put them back i noticed there is a half inch gap on the outside corners ... the window does not seal. I am not sure if it somehow got bent when open or if this is how it is supposed to be.

any comments?

Your rock guards are not built to seal, and that's a bone of contention with a few folks around here.

I have the same issue with mine and have used the round insulation that's used to cover the refrigerant supply to your homes' air conditioner. Lowe's has the kind that has self sticking adhesive on the area that allows the tubing to wrap around that supply line and seal itself.

I'm sure there's many others who've got better solutions than mine, but so far the amount of trash that gets through the gap is minimal.

There is rarely a tight seal on the pano window covers...ours are not tight...never have been.

I had the same problem on my 2002 ASCL 31'. It took several hours, but the relatively soft aluminum frame of the shields can be "finessed" into shape so as to contact the entire face of the coach. Be patient as it is a very iterative process.
