This is what I did to add my name to my trailer - not so permanent a thing like paint and transferable to another trailer. Just a thought to add to this thread.
AHHH. Seasoned minds think alike. I too sported a name on my 1951 Merc ragtop in the '50s. And by recent chance I was thinking of doing the same to our Trade Wind. In fact I painted the name on my car as also to several other members of my 'hot rod' club.....gotta find those pictures...

I love it! Now I think I would like to do this as well. Only, we are not "married" so we wuld need a lot of room for our two last names... not as cool. Any ideas? I would love to do this on a vintage AS.
How about:
Melissa & Roman Keminski-Wong Lake Tahoe

Get married.....it's a fun thing. However, much to Bob's displeasure, I did not change my name. At my age it's just not worth the hassel. He does not agree.

Post #7 asked if it was me holding the Merry Christmas sign in the original picture? It is. The picture was taken in 1959 to put on our Christmas cards that year. I was 9 years old then.
BTW......... I was fortunate to get my Dad's WBCC #1200 that you can see in the picture because some very nice folks in Arizona reliquished it in trade for #1290. If you ever meet "Sandy" & Bettye Sanders from Green Valley, AZ, thank them for exhibiting the true Caravaner Spirit.
This is my friend Jerry's 1949 Trailwind. He repainted the number 15 years ago, but the rest is all original from the very early days of the club.
Rob Baker has done this on his Soviegn, Sophia. It looks very classic in my opinion. Sorry the photo is so distance, but, trust me, it looks great.
I plan to have Anna numbered and lettered on the front curbside corner and the street side rear corner. I plan on using a font that looks back to the past. It will have #7183 in a script font, Then "Anna" the second home of the Yensan's, Baltimore, MD

If there was any reason I found in the world to justfy me getting married......
it would be so I could put a more vintage touch on our Airstream!!!
