Overall width...looking for skinny!

I know that the overall widths of vintage Airstreams grew over the years. I believe my 1965 Overlander is at the 8' overall width mark. I'm looking for models which were at the 7' 4" overall width. What models/years would be included in this outside width measurement? What year did airstream decide to fatten up the fleet and grow the width measurement?
Thanks,
Kathleen

In 65 they were all still 7.4. Airstream has a history archive section with specs that will show what year the width changed. But... Someone here will know it by heart and answer.

The Argosy Minuete series were the 7'6" ones, and the current Sport models are also narrower than 8'

Airstream still makes a "narrow body" for export to Europe and Gr Britain. Only found this out when I was looking for a "wide" body at several dealerships in Michigan

PS Trailer Service (Helena Ohio) regularly prep pre '86 trailers for shipment to Europe to met the demand for narrow body trailers. Our '89 was 7'6"; our '96 is 8 ft. wide

Trailer Width

I believe the 22 foot Safari Sport is still 7' 4" as is our 2008 17 foot Safari Sport.
