I have a 1968 Safari with Magic Chef oven that the sensor wire has failed. The repair place I use can't find a replacement part. Anyone have one? I don't have a photo of it but might be able to get one. I know nothing about this kind of stuff and am hoping to be the middle person and just find the part for them . The model # is TL727F and the serial # is 99882. Thanks for any advice!

If the thermocouple has failed that should be an easy to find part at any hardware store or home center. It's the component that senses the pilot flame.
The temperature probe is part of the thermostat. They have to be replaced together, and cost around $100. Look through my last few posts for links if you want to purchase one.
