Oven door won't fully close
Heavy items stored in the oven while traveling shifted and knocked the oven door off. I struggled to get the door back on. Now the door won't fully close. I use a shock cord while cooking to hold the door closed but would much rather get it right. Please look at the door hinges and tell me if they are right. Thanks.

The metal around the hinges are a bit bent. I went to the dometic web site for drawings/support and couldn't find anything helpful as far as how to adjust the door hinges.
The hinges are also pulled slightly forward and rotated downward so they reach their closed spring limit before the door makes contact. Without the benefit of hinge adjustment instructions, I would remove the hinges, Inspect the spring mechanism, straighten up the door a bit, reinstall the hinges and rotate them as far upward and back as possible.

Does it feel like the spring is even attached? When the door is about half way closed, you should feel the spring pulling it toward the closed position.

I'd take the interior panel off the door, try closing it and see how the hinge/springs are bent, out of alignment.
I wonder if someone sells just a door?

In one of our early Airstream adventures, we had the oven door come open since we keep pots and pans in the oven. Fortunately, there was no damage to the door. Now we keep a bungee cord wrapped around the door handle and attached to the back of the stove whenever we're in transit.

I use the oven to store bread. No damage. (although I never thought about it.)

I had the same problem, after a trip I found the oven door open and it would not close completely. The fix is the hinge bracket inside the door. To open the door remove the 2 black screws at the top edge of the door (not the 4 screws you see on the inside of the door because they hod the hinges). If you have a cabinet below the over open that door to avoid scratching it when you pull the stainless cover away from the inner oven door liner. Do this with door about 1/2 open. you will see the aluminum channel holding the spring and hinge on each side. You will also see that the bottom portion is bowed out a bit. Simply squeeze the bottom portion back together so it is in line with the rest of the hinge channel. That is it now just put it back together note the little tabs on the inner door liner and with a butter knife you can fit the stainless skin around them and put the 2 back screws back in and it should now close properly .
