Outside seam maintainence

How often should I have my seams sealed on my 27 FB? It was built in Oct 2006 so I would think I should be looking at some preventitive work by now. My unit is stored outside in the CA sun.

Seams can be sealed with above or "Acryl" from the Mothership.

there is a whole lengthy thread on what to use for sealing this and that...I referenced it for myself later, but am dizzy from trying to read it once before.

PI check my AS monthly... Especially after a rough tow. The AS flexes a bit and can create some issues. If you do it regularly you may find NO BIG PROBLEMS! And if you fix the little things, they rarely become "huge".

Our AS like so leak around the front cap joint and window on front center curb side. So I have learned to check it more often, closely... And I rarely get dampness in the area now.

Once a year visit for a "full reseal" at the AS dealer may be good for "overall" security of leaks...then if you can indicate "problem areas"( because you have done regular checks), that will assist the technician on where to spend more time.

Pressurized "leak test" may be a good place to start then judge frequency based upon your AS and use.

Maybe I am lucky, but I have never had a seam leak and the Acryl-R looks to be in good shape all around. I just inspect them while washing. I've had a few rivet leaks at seam areas, but never a seam to open up.
