Since losing my fantastic 'Go To' dealer /manager, David Tidmore, in Weatherford, TX I've been researching where to go next. A couple folks have recommended Out Doors Mart in Greensboro, NC. I'd be interested in comments regarding creative mods and repair abilities of this dealer. If any Forum members have good or bad experiences regarding this dealer would you PM me with your 'Sunshine' or 'Rain' please? I believe this Forum would frown on posted comments bordering on advertising. Thanks in advance and,

I have also heard good things about Out of Doors Mart's service department...I think they are well respected among the dealer body. I know they are by me!

High Marks! Ben in parts is very knowledeable and helpful as well as Tony, the service manager.
I just traded by 87 for a 98 there with Joel Kilby, owner.

I have had excellent service from Out of Doors Mart. They will keep in touch about orders, etc. They will always be the first I will contact about parts, questions, etc.

I buy Airstream original parts from them, and have been treated very well so far. Their parts department works very thoroughly, asking all the right questions to mek sure the parts are correct.

Quick, helpful, responsive service. These folks really care about even the small stuff. Most recently Dan helped me figure out an upgrade on my steps. He's gone above the call of duty more than once to figure out ways to help me save a few dollars, sometimes even cents, on my postage and shipping costs. High praise!

I must agree with all of the posts here. I just had an oppertunity to do business with them and found the service and knowledge very helpful and refreshing. Dan Brown was very professional and personable. He worked with me as far as payment and shipping and was very quick with a response to my many questions.

A pleasure to do business with Out of Doors Mart now, and I am sure, in the future!!

When I first started working at the Out-of-Doors Mart I realized the need for documenting the repairs of Airstream units. I had the idea long ago that the web would be the median to do that. So in many ways our "how-to" site is a dream come true. Much more will be added when it slows down.

The other thing that I have noticed is that digital Airstreamers ( Airstream owners who get on line) are so very easy to work with. I find that they love their Airstream and are frustrated when they can't find a way to repair their unit. It is a good feeling to be a part of that solution.

You may have noticed when you ask a question that it may take a little time to get back to you. There is a good reason for that. I'm running your question by my THINK TANK. My think tank is the other people who work here at the ODM. These guys have been doing it longer than myself, Ben over 25 years, Paul and Tony over 15 years, and Mark who has been in RV parts for over 15 years.

I also have to add a "kudos" to Dan and Out of Doors mart. I just ordered a water pump and some blue rub rail insert from him. He was "Johnny on the Spot" with the stuff and shipped it out quickly. Ordered on Tuesday and received on Thursday.

Well, today's the day!! My order from Out-of-Doors Mart is due..(according to the gospel of the UPS tracking number). I must admit, it has taken me 50+ yrs to be a four year old again...."is it here yet??" I want my new Prodigy to play with and install in my truck!!! "Is it here yet??"

I know the thread is old but thought as a new AS owner that I'd say thanks for all of the wonderful info..As a newbie, I've used the forums a ton... To provide an update, ODM has been a great resource for me...everything from replacing my toilet valve while winter camping to walbernize solution to answering questions along the oh crap I dont have a clue what I'm doing with a AS questions ;-)

It's great to have a local source of knowledge, parts, & service

Like my friend, Tommie...I too am a big fan. I have purchased two new Airstreams from ODM as well. Also, Mike who handles the service writing is really first rate. Jason sold me both trailers....and he is very customer focused. The guys in the parts department have ordered a lot of stuff for me (I'm into the Stainless Steel stuff), and NEVER fail to call me as soon as stuff arrives. I feel very fortunate to have ODM in my backyard and trust them implicitly.
