OMG - I've got water!!!
We just tested the (all new) water supply and sinks and we now have water!!
When we bought this two years ago there wasn't any and several water lines were ruptured. It has been a really long road but I think that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
However, I still don't think that we will make it in time for the rally this weekend. We have yet to hook up brakes and transformer....
But I am still a happy soon-to-be-camper!

Congratulations! Great Job!!
Congratulations on a significant milestone in your renovation efforts . . . having water does make the whole camping experience a lot more pleasant! Best wishes for continued progress at a pace that is better than you expect and has fewer glitches than you may expect!

Congratulations!
Well you are a bit ahead of me...I am still in the destruction stage
What size water lines did you use? Mine currently plumbed with 1/2" and 3/8". Apparently 1/2" on the coldwater feed side and 3/8" on the hotwater side. I figure on replacing everything with red and blue PEX in the 1/2" size.

we
Thanks to both of you.
Aaron - We replaced everything with the 1/2" pex. It is such a good system, but the darn fittings are expensive.
In the last two years (and I still can't believe it has been this long) we have replaced:
front and rear floor
front and rear "C" channel
outriggers
all water lines
kitchen counters and sink
bath counter, toilet, and sink
hot water tank
water hose
electric plug for rv and to hook to vehicle
gaskets
some exterior lights
some belly pan
outriggers
banana wrap
axles and brakes
all underneath insulation
several interior aluminum panels that were missing
We have also:
rebuilt rear bumper compartment
cleaned, primed and repainted entire frame
repainted interior
hubby made a new door handle for exterior where the lift up handle was broken.
Ah, I think that is the majority of it. It is funny, my friends see it and can't understand what we have done because the interior is still not put all back together. LOL
What they don't see is all the necessary systems are now good to go and the minor stuff like the interior decor is the home stretch!
Now I just have to get my curtains done (they are about 1/2 finished) and lay the floor, plus some minor things like hanging the cupboard doors and replacing the hinges that are broken.

Wannaroam,
WOW, that's quite a list of restoration / renovation projects. Since you are from PA, make sure you give Penn Wood Airstream Park in Limestone, PA a try once you get on the road.

wannaroam,
I would say you all are doing pretty well. Mine has been going on close to 4 years and will probably be at least one more. We did use ours a couple of times prior to the tear down. My list isn't quite as long as yours but not far behind. But when I get done I will have a well repaired trailer at a fraction of the cost of a brand new one.
My biggest problem is I keep finding things to upgrade/replace...
