Oh the humanity! or how do I fix my rock guard?

I just installed a beautiful new Lexan rock guard on my '66 Overlander. It was so beautiful. Stress "WAS". In the process of doing some work above it with Goof Off, yeah I know I should have known better, I dribbled some on the Lexan. It has left an ugly set of stains, much like bird droppings. But it doesn't clean off. My question is does anyone know how to repair this kind of damage to Lexan? I know that no one else has ever done this but you may have heard stories how someone else repaired this kind of mistake.
