Newer Dometic A/C units, repair?

I have a 2012 FC with the rooftop A/C unit that is running and cooling OK but is vibrating - actually shakes trailer. Ive traced the problem to the blower fan. Fan is either loose, out of balance or maybe just starting to fail. Question is, does anyone know if I can get to and just replace the fan and it's motor, Or is it all one combined unit that must be replaced? I. E. Compressor, evaporator, fan - all one combined unit?

Have you checked to see if there is a mud dauber nest on the fan blades?

I agree with Terry. The majority if noise and vibration complaints are easily remedied by removing mud dauber nests from the fan blade. Be sure to look at the front of the center section of the fan, the one that faces the condenser. That is their favorite hiding spot.

And to answer your other question, the motor and fan blade are one of the few replaceable parts of these units.

Terry and Lewster, you are right on. That was it exactly. Can't believe I was about to leave it with the dealer for no telling how long, to be returned to me with some new small dent somewhere--as is always the case.
Most of the dauber nest was already spun off, but a small amount remained and was enough to cause the imbalance. Thanks again so much.
