Has anyone with a ducted A/C experienced poor A/C performance?
I think you have answered your own question. If the 25' trailer with the 15K air conditioner was marginal in Texas, and assuming it is functioning properly, you can't expect a larger trailer to be adequate for you with the same BTU rating. Ducting won't help you make that air colder and if it creates any additional back pressure into the air flow, that loss will make a marginal situation all the worse. Running air through ducting creates friction and because of the ducts and outlet vents, its inevitable that you will get a some loss of efficiency. How much depends upon how well Airstream sized the ductwork and how many curves that ductwork has in it. Air resistance from the vents themselves can affect outflow.
