new break system for a 1971 31' Land Yacht project

Hey everybody ..

Is there a way to change the 12 volt break system on a 1971 31' Land Yacht ..

I am shipping it to DK and here it needs to be another system to be OK'ed for the road ..

Casper, does the brake system have to be a surge brake system (i.e., the brake system is totally mechanical and applied by pressure from the trailer pushing against the tow vehicle)? I recall that when I had an English-built trailer a number of years ago it had a surge bake mechanism.

When I toured the AS factory last year, I saw that they were building trailers for the European market with a mechanical surge brake mechanism.
