We're on the road, and will be near Nampa, ID sometime on Monday, where, apparently, there's an Airstream dealer. Does anyone know anything about this place?

Something's wrong with our fridge. We had Lew take a look on our way through Hood River today, and his best guess is something wrong with the switch that switches fridge between 12v and 120 power. That's what we thought as well, given the circumstances.

Luckily, I hope, we will be at this dealer on Monday, and hoping they can take a look at it and help us. Figured I may as well ask on here if anyone is familiar with the dealer and service dept.. Not that we have any choice....

I picked up my 2013 FC '20 there a year and a half ago. Service shop did the setup. All straight forward. I think you'll be fine!

They did some work for me about a year ago. Resealed the windows and roof and set up a new WD hitch. I was very happy with their work.

I purchased my FC 20 from them, and have had warrantee work done there. First class operation.

BUT: Sales and I think service are NOT open on Monday, or were not last year at least. That could be changed of course.

Glad to hear you've got a good Airstream dealer nearby, however don't forget that most appliances are generic - the A/C, water heater, pump, furnace, etc. are merely installed by Airstream, so any good RV service shop can do the work.

Your refrigerator is an all electric one in the Interstate, right? That is a compressor operation, not a propane unit? Those are much less common and may be harder to find anyone who knows how to service them. But I am sure the Nampa dealer will do their best by you.

AS is closed Mondays. We will drive there first thing Tuesday morning.

We have a Nova Kool, 12v/110. Will only work when plugged in. Hopefully AS can figure it out and fix it!!!

By the way, Boise is beautiful. Spent day biking along River.

Nova Cool is over nighting new fridge to dealer. Should b back on road on Thursday...yea! Will once again have cold beer!

Yea, glad the Nampa dealer came through for you fast. They seemed very good to me. Is Mrs. Allen still the service manager? At least I think that was her name.

Fridge is working great!

Huge thanks to Zonia Allen and the technicians at Airstream Northwest Adventures. And to Nova Kool for overnight shipping the part we needed. And to AS Ohio. Really happy to get such great support while on the road!

Currently in Billings, MT For the night. On way to Mt Rushmore.

Oh no. Here we go again. Fridge was working great, until we turned on the inverter last night while dry camping. After a couple hours I noticed water on the floor. The fridge had turned itself off and the freezer was defrosting.

Will be at Jackson Center in 10 days. Hope they can fix this for good.

I have had the Nampa AS do the service on our '02 Classic since they have been there. Nampa, Idaho service manger Zonia Allen is the best. We have been over 10,000 miles since they spring serviced our AS, and it has been perfect.

They were great with us too. And they got fridge working. But must be some other problem with the system as well. Am hoping that, if we just don't turn inverter on, fridge will stay working until we get to Jackson Center.

Sounds like the fridge is working on 12VDC but not 120VAC. I would have them check it at JC. Does it work when on generator or shore power? I would also have them put in that 120VAC disconnect switch we talked about so you can isolate it to run exclusively on 12VDC batteries when you use the inverter.

It works on shore power. And it works when not on shore powne (since the repair in Nampa). It stopped working only when we turned on the inverter. And started working again when we turned inverter off.

Not sure about when on generator. We r running gen right now (for its monthly workout). I'll check fridge in an hour or so to see if it's still running.

In Kansas City, MO now. Awesome city! Hot and humid as heck though. Happy to be running the gen w/ the a/c cranking!!
