My limited knowledge is based on my actual experience with a now 26 year old Airstream and what I read here. But it would be easy to conclude that a well maintained several year old trailer, such as the one discussed here, might present fewer problems than a brand new one. The seemingly inevitable bought new punch list has been dealt with. And most conscientious owners will have made numerous small improvements along with regular maintenance. If I ever buy another Airstream (doubtful as I'm very satisfied) I would try to buy a used one from one of the owners on this forum.

Switz...

You're a perfect example of what I'm talking about. It would be no contest between buying a new Airstream or one of yours - on every level.

OK, hijack over.
