Need Advice/Recommendations

I recently acquired a '69 Caravel. It had been sitting unused for several years. Next week I will take it to an AS dealer in Denver to have them check it out. Here's the hard part. Besides a general systems check, are there things that I shoul ask them to pay particular attention to? There's nothing that sticks out to me, but then my experience is limited to no experience. Thanks in advance.

I would take it up to Fort Collins and have Luke take a look at it instead of the local dealer. PM me if you want his contact information.

Reverse the order of BambiTex's list.

Finish the underside FIRST.

A refurb of a 45 plus year old Airstream is not for the faint of heart or someone with relatively shallow pockets. If any work is done on the topsides prior to the bottom work the topside repairs may have to be removed or redone when removing items to get to the frame or underside.

Refurbs of this type should be taken on by those looking for a labor of love or utilizing the work as therapy with a specific goal in mind.

This refurb will require a LOT of cash and a LOT of work.
