I need to get my 'stream on the road soon. It sits in a park in Tennessee while I am in Florida. It has been sitting for six years since I towed it up there. It is vintage ('71) and I am afraid it will need some attention to the brakes before it goes anywhere again. Dura Torque Axle
You can change out the axles yourself. To do that on a tandem is a piece of cake.
Any torsion axle that has set for a few years, is almost guaranteed to have bad axles.
