This isn't for my Airstream but for my utility.
It has the factory trailer witing kit in it and came with the wiring pigtail.
Does anyone like Tekonsha make a plug and play controller that is brand/year specific?
I just want a plug and play - no connectors, no soldering, nada.
Both the pickup (06 Chevy 2500) have the 7 pin connectors.
Anyone got a part # or link?
Looking for good. Don't need fancy or top of the line.
Thanks for any help.
I love my P3. It adds a few features that I wanted, such as the ability to control electric over hydraulic breaks, and a few other things for a few more dollars.
I added a Tekonsha to an F350 recently and purchased the wiring adapter for the specific application from etrailer. No cutting or splicing, everything was plug and go.
I second the Tekonsha (P3) bought directly from etrailer. The advantage is that they offer specific packages all set for your specific vehicle - pretty much 'plug 7 play'.

I agree with the others that the P3 w/PNP harness is the way to go. It is especially good for electric over hydraulic brakes such as the disk brakes on our trailer. If you have any future plans for trailers, you can't go wrong with the P3,
