Need a key for Potted water door

I need a key for my 1975 31' Sovereign potted water door. It is short and is cut on the top and bottom. I have missplace mine. Is there any way to get it open with out distorying the door?

I called an Airstream Dealer in Nevada (Oasisrv?) or Arizona - they taped the key to a 3x5" index card and had it to me in four days for $12 if memory serves me right..

None of the Midwest dealers cared to stock it; call down to the SW American Desert where Airstreams live forever and water is precious
