Mystery dent

How in the world did this happen?
I tried to attach pictures, but keep getting an "upload fail" message.
I have a dent in the, uh, what is it- banana wrap/belly pan- the black curved section at the bottom of the trailer. The dent is on the street side about even with the dinette.
I haven't hit anything. The yard care guys say the dent doesn't match any of their equipment. Their lawn mowers are red, and there is no paint transfer of any color in the dent.
Could road debris/a piece of truck tire in the road/tree limb in the road/piece of lumber in the road/something the truck tire threw cause a dent here?
I guess I will upload the pictures to a computer and try again.

Finding out what caused the dent at this point is basically moot. The question now is are you going to fix it or live with it

"Upload Fail" could mean that as a non-paying member of the forum you've reached your limit of free photos.

If you have an account somewhere in the cloud, you could upload your pictures to the cloud, and then just link to them, rather than attaching them. Just don't put them on the same cloud drive with pictures you don't want to share…

The only real solution is to live with it or wait till another rally where a guy has a suction dent puller.

I am a paying member.
When the year is up, the message is different- something about "you've reached the limit".
I am also getting a message about some type of "post error". If I turn the phone off and then on, the post will be there. I am suspecting a problem with the iPhone mobile app.

Well, the last post went without an error message, but I still get the "upload fail" message when I try to send a picture.

Tried from the iPad- still got the upload fail message-

I just tried to upload the pictures from a PC- same message- that shows me it is not isolated to iOS devices.

Could an animal- dog, opossum, coon, pig, etc. cause that dent?

Select the smallest size of the image to upload. My iPhone can take images over several gigabytes in size and the forum won't accept them and many internet services will not let them be sent as well. Size of email restrictions is typically the case with mobile devices and cellular data based devices.

There appears to a system issue with uploads to posts. We are checking this over.

Hank you.
I hope by posting pictures someone will say, "I got a dent like that and this is how it happened."
All I know is when we left the campground it was not there. When it got home and parked it, I noticed the dent 3 weeks later.
I don't recall hitting anything in the road.

The image issue has been fixed. Hopefully the dent repair will be as simple

Upload photos/dent

First, the easiest way to upload images, IMO is to have an account on Flickr, then grab the BBCode (Bulletin Board Code) which looks like this

img]https://farm4.stacflickr.com/3948/19347500611_cff6bf2052_z.jpg[/img][/url]Farmington Davi Merry 07.01.15-4 by [url=https://www.flikr.com/photos/fantinesfotos/]Tommie Lauer[/url

Sort of... I disabled the code by eliminating some of its letters...

As to the dent....I had what was probably a piece of tire tread hit one of my SS Rock Guards, bent it back to the aluminum, nearly touching. These tread pieces are quite heavy and if one is traveling at 55 - 60 mph, hitting one is like any rock, board, whatever...

I was able to bend my rock guard back, but in the aluminum you will have to consult an expert.
