My new challenge '53 flying cloud into fish 'n chip trailer

I am restoring from a-z my trailer, bought in the U.S! Now it's home is in Switzerland! Stay tuned for photos! And don't hesitate to encourage me I have 2 months to do it in! I will up date and ask questions as we go! Cheers

As you can see the easiest part is done...! I have pieced all the rivets inside and the bottom of the chassis!

Looks like you are doing great. Are you going to do a shell off restoration or are you making this your own creation? The reason I am asking is that if you are doing a shell off your going to need to remove those inner shell rivets and those are all still intact. Also supplemental opening??? Are you referring to remove the inner shell through like an open or removed window? Like the pictures! Have a great day and keep up the good work.

Hi RM66, I drilled out most of the rivets I left the shelving in for now to avoid tripping over them! I have on the left side 3 windows! The 2 that are in the front, left wont be touched but from the 2nd window Will be an opening that includes the 3rd window. If you get what I mean!

Yes I'm going through the same process in Switzerland! With a 60 safari..They are very strict...lighting, brakes, chassis, etc etc...be prepared for the costs.....OMG
