Mothership repairs

We are considering having some repairs done at the Mothership.

Anyone having experience with this, a PM will be great... if you want to communicate directly with me about your process and experience.

Or, reply here is ok...

Ok.. so, the worm can is open!!! Have a blessed day!

I have posted on many threads on this topic. I even started one. After getting service work done at Jackson Center I won't go anywhere else. The Airstream Service Center is absolutely the best service center there is. Period. They strive for 110% customer satisfaction. They will go the extra mile, bend over backwards, do whatever it takes to make you happy.
Read some of my posts on other threads about it.

I haven't been able to get the "search" function to search for anything for several months. It just lists all threads.

I've about abandoned everything but the "google" option under search. It's usually pretty good if you enter the right string of words. "Chairs" will get you way too much - but "leather recliners" will get you a reasonable starting place.

Been there twice for fairly large repairs. Once was a new A frame. They do a great job. Airstream work is fairly expensive so you need to communicate and keep an eye on the costs so you will not have a suprise at the end. Probably a better value than getting repairs at a dealer but if you have a lot of small stuff to be repaired saved up it can add up quickly.

I am fortunate to have a very professional and capable local Airstream dealership. For repair of general systems I feel confident taking my trailer to them. For major structural or other repairs I would make the trip to Jackson Center if it was safe to do so. This is based on my experience there last year.

Thanks again! For most repairs, Top is my choice. In this case, my bride has decided the 'upholstery' is in need of... er... hum..... 'updating'.... we found a local guy, but we are not sure if the 'Price is Right'... =p

I'll phone HOME.
